An Android browser can save an MP4 directly from a public TikTok link. The process works with most modern browsers, although button names and download folders can vary by device.
Get a link to the post
Open the TikTok app. Select the video, tap the Share arrow and choose Copy link. Copy the individual video link. A profile URL does not identify which video you want. If the creator allows in-app saving, TikTok’s own Save video command is another option.
Request and save the video
In Chrome or your preferred Android browser, visit the SnapVu downloader. Paste the link, choose Get video, inspect the title and cover, then tap Download MP4. If your browser asks whether to download the file, confirm it.
Locate the MP4 on your phone
Look for a download notification first. Otherwise open the Files app and check Downloads. In Chrome you can also open the browser menu and select Downloads. Some gallery apps scan the Downloads folder and add the clip automatically; if it is not in your gallery, that does not mean the download failed.
Fix common problems
If you see a “not found” message, confirm the post is public and still available. Try copying the link again from TikTok. SnapVu handles video posts, not photo slideshows or private accounts. If a download fails partway through, make sure your phone has enough free storage and retry on a stable connection. The provider may have temporary outages or an expired media URL.
Browser permission and storage tips
On some phones, the browser asks for permission before saving a file. Allow the download for your own request, then check the browser’s Downloads list if no notification appears. A file manager may show the MP4 before a gallery app scans it. If you need it in a video editor, select the file from Downloads or move it into a folder you can easily find. Avoid installing an unrelated downloader app just to locate a file that is already saved.
What a clean MP4 does and does not do
The tool requests a clean source from an external provider; it does not improve a blurry original, recover a removed post or unlock a private account. The result can vary in quality because the uploaded video and available provider source vary. Open the file and listen to the audio before relying on it. If the result is not what you expected, copy the link again and check the preview title against the post.
