This policy describes the data handling built into the SnapVu theme. It must be reviewed and updated by the site operator if the hosting provider, installed plugins, analytics, advertising or contact methods add other processing.

Video links and downloads
When you submit a public TikTok URL, our WordPress server sends it to TikWM, a third-party resolution service, to look up available video information. The response can include a title, creator name, thumbnail and MP4 URL. Your browser may load the thumbnail from a TikTok media server. When you download, the video is fetched through our server into temporary storage and deleted after the response finishes or fails. The theme does not create a permanent video library or ask you to upload a video.
Abuse prevention and server logs
For rate limiting, the theme uses a short-lived WordPress transient keyed by a one-way hash derived from your IP address. The transient expires after about 10 minutes. As with most websites, the host, firewall and CDN may keep access and security logs under their own settings. The site operator should check and disclose their actual retention periods.
Cookies and other plugins
This theme does not add an analytics or advertising cookie. WordPress may use cookies for logged-in users and commenters, and plugins or external resources may have separate practices. See our Cookie Policy. The site operator must update this policy before enabling analytics, ads, forms or third-party embeds that collect additional data.
Email contact
If you email us, we receive your address and the information in your message to respond to your request. The site operator’s email service determines how long those messages are retained.
Sharing, security and requests
Links are shared with TikWM to provide the requested function; thumbnails and media may be served by TikTok-related hosts. We do not sell personal information through this theme.
