Download TikTok videos without watermark on PC – Copy the video URL
Open TikTok in your browser and navigate to the video itself. Copy the URL from the address bar. It commonly includes a creator handle and /video/ followed by a numeric ID. A link copied using TikTok’s Share button can also be a short vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com URL.
Preview, then download
Open SnapVu, paste the URL and select Get video. Check the returned title and thumbnail so you know you are saving the intended post. Choose Download MP4. Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari typically save the file in Downloads unless you changed the browser setting to ask for a location.
If the browser plays the video instead
Normally the download button sends an attachment response, which prompts the browser to save the file. Browser settings and security software can affect the experience. If your browser opens a video tab, use its menu or right-click option to save the video. For an interrupted transfer, return to the tool and get a new link, then try again.
About quality and ownership
The output is an MP4 provided from an available source. Original recording quality, TikTok processing and provider availability determine the file you receive; a higher-resolution version cannot be invented when it is not available. Removing a visible watermark does not remove the creator’s rights. Ask permission before reusing someone else’s work or publishing it elsewhere.
Short links and browser addresses
A link copied through the TikTok Share menu may use a short vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com address. That is normal: the provider follows it to the public post. If you manually type a URL, avoid copying a profile address or a shortened fragment without the full link. The tool will tell you when the address is not recognized as a TikTok video link.
Organize your downloaded clips
The saved filename contains the video ID so multiple files are less likely to overwrite one another. If you are archiving your own content, rename the file after download with a meaningful title and date and keep a separate record of the original post URL. Do not assume an outside service will keep the post available forever. A download is also not a substitute for the original camera file if you need full-quality editing later.
